One of the biggest highlights of my career has been working on ART India magazine’s social media under my content studio from May 2018 till January 2021. Published by the conglomerate JSW Group, ART India had no social media presence at that time. Being a journalist, I was initially apprehensive about doing only social media for a magazine, but then I decided to approach it as a mini-magazine! Apart from curating art news from all around the world and Artists’ Takeovers, I created a lot of original content properties for their Insta channel including Insta Interviews (slideshow format interviews), Insta Art Exhibits (specifically curated artworks based on a theme by leading curators), Studio Stories (multipart, longform features on artists’ studios), etc.
The Best Part: They use pretty much all of the properties, formats, and templates till today. 😍
Numbers: 17k (highly engaged) followers in less than a year. When we handed over the account to their in-house team in 2021, ART India had 36k followers (all organic growth 😅!). And today, they have 51k followers.
